Saint Andrew Conversations

St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church is a strange place. The people who go their have strange beliefs. They believe that the God who created every star and galaxy became a man. They believe this man walked the earth 2000 years ago and died the death of a thief on a splintery Roman cross. They believe that the blood that this perfect man shed is the answer to all the pain and suffering in the world. They believe this man's broken body heals the brokenness of the world.

If we are not struck by the wildness of Christian belief, then we are probably not reflecting on it enough. This blog is intended to stimulate such reflection, especially in our local community around the Broadneck Peninsula. This blog is a safe place to call into question the radical claims of Christianity and the Catholic Church.
